Football shirt framing and sports shirt framing
Shirt framing is one of the most popular services at the gallery. Thousands of football shirts, rugby shirts, cricket whites, basketball jerseys, F1 memorabilia and cycling jerseys have come through our workshop over the years, and every one is built individually.
Each shirt frame is hand-built using a deep box frame with enough depth for the shirt to sit comfortably behind the glass. Shirts are hand-stitched or professionally fixed onto acid-free backing, and can be removed undamaged in the future if you ever need them back. Photographs, match tickets, plaques and printed nameplates can all be included alongside the shirt to tell the story behind it.

The Process
Full size or folded
Shirts can be displayed full size with the front facing out, or folded to show both front and back, or to fit a smaller frame. The best way to decide is to lay it out in the gallery and see what works best.
The Materials
Signed shirts and match-worn shirts
Signed football shirts and signed jerseys need careful handling. Acid-free backing materials are used throughout and signed shirts are hand-stitched to avoid any damage to autographs or fabric. Every signed shirt frame is built so the shirt can come out cleanly if needed.
The Result

If you've worn it, won it or had it signed, we can frame it. Football, rugby, cricket, basketball, cycling, boxing, athletics. Bring it in and we'll build a frame around it.
Hand-Built Frames
Every shirt frame is built to order in the workshop using deep box frames and conservation grade materials.
Hand-Stitched Mounting
Shirts are hand-stitched or professionally fixed onto acid-free backing so they can be removed undamaged.
