Canvas Stretching & Fabric Framing

Canvas and textile framing

Bring us your rolled canvases, your oils, your acrylics, your giclée prints, and we'll stretch them by hand onto laminate wood stretcher bars that hold their shape over time. If your canvas is already stretched but has loosened or warped, we can re-stretch it too.

Tapestries, embroidery, cross-stitch, silk and other textile work all need careful stretching and mounting before they go into a frame. Fabrics can be framed under glass or left open depending on the look you want.

Already have a canvas on bars that just needs a frame? We carry a wide range of tray frames, box frames and traditional mouldings suited to canvas paintings and prints.

The Process

Stretched and framed on site

Bring your canvas or textile work in to our Henley-on-Thames studio and we'll take a look, talk through your options and handle everything from stretching through to final framing. All work is done in-house by our own team.

Laminate Stretcher Bars

We use laminate wood bars that hold their shape and resist the bowing and twisting that happens with cheaper softwood.

Canvas & Textile

Oils, acrylics, giclée prints, rolled canvases, tapestries, embroidery, cross-stitch, silk and needlework.

Stretching & Re-Stretching

New stretching for rolled or unstretched canvases, and re-stretching for older work that has loosened or warped.
