Choosing the right glass
Most people don't think much about the glass until they see the difference it makes. A print in a hallway doesn't need the same protection as a signed limited edition over a fireplace. We keep samples of everything in the gallery so you can compare them side by side against your work.
Standard picture frame glass works well for everyday framing. Non-reflective anti glare glass cuts out the shine and gives you a clearer view, especially in well-lit rooms. If you're hanging work near windows or in direct sunlight, UV protective glass helps prevent colours fading over time.
For original paintings, signed editions and anything irreplaceable, museum grade glass offers the highest level of UV protection with virtually no reflection. We also carry lightweight acrylic glazing for oversized frames, high-hang positions or work that needs to travel safely.
