The maps you see are printed on incredibly thin tissue paper. These were hidden within old LP records which were broken open to reveal these maps & used by POW's during WWII & to escape & find a way out.

The deck of cards...

Each card was double layered, peeling apart to reveal a map, a code & a key to escape. The deck of cards once laid out altogether created an incredible map of europe...

The Maps...

These were incredibly fragile, being thinner than tissue paper. Printed in colour, amazingly preserved, these maps were intended to be undetected & its evidence destroyed after use. Naturally, no fixatives could be used to maintain its preservation...

Text, medals & more memorabilia...

The Clients requested text was giclee printed onto our fine art archival paper & incorporated as shown, alongside the War Medals & identification card of the said veteron.
